Port Valinco (Portu Valincu)
Port Valinco (Portu Valincu), Corsica / Corse
Port Valinco (or Portu Valincu in Corsican) is the secluded charming harbour of picturesque Propriano which lies in the heart of the Gulf of Valinco, along the South-Western coastline of Corsica. There has always been a fishing harbour in Propriano, though the quaint houses and oldest parts of the harbour you see today are in fact only a century old. For centuries this, relatively secluded region of Corsica was regularly raided by pirates and invaders.
Throughout the years, the fishing activities have gradually shrunk, allowing the port to develop and attract tourism. Porto Valinco is now primarily a leisure porto destined to boats and yachts. There is also a pier dedicated to ferries which bring holiday makers to the area.
Porto Valinco has 380 berths, of which the vast majority (200) are public moorings. It is possible to moor a yacht up to 32 m LOA, all year around.
